The generous grant from the Freo Fire Fund has been put towards our bushfire response projects and has enabled us to continue with our important work to protect wildlife which has been deeply affected by the fires...
Thank you so much for generously fundraising to support these important initiatives, we greatly appreciate your support.
We were actually blown away and genuinely touched by the response to the bushfire crisis and to the [Freo Fire] fund.
It meant so much to know that people across the other side of Australia (and indeed the world!) weren't just thinking of us, they were motivated to help.
It goes without saying that we say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who contributed...
The grant enables [potentially] hundreds of people to learn about cool traditional burning practices and undertake strategic planning.
Thank you and well done to the Freo Fire Fund supporters.
The funds have given a sense of hope and the ability to make huge progress on traditional burning - a way of managing land that could revolutionise how we manage fire in the future
